THE EXPERIENCE
This collection of five routes takes you around the City of London from the Tower of London in the east, past its modern skyscrapers and its historic financial centre, along the riverside to St Paul’s Cathedral, before charting a route to Central London through Smithfield, Holborn and the Inns of Court

ROUTE 6 - The Tower, Old Billingsgate, Shard – 1.5 km
Start: Tower Hill Station
Finish: London Bridge Station
Discover London’s most historic and oldest areas, from the Tower of London to London Bridge. This area has been associated with power, defence, river trade and commerce for over a thousand years, shaping the capital’s development and identity.

ROUTE 7 - London Bridge, to the Tower of London - 2.9 km
Start: London Bridge Station
Finish: Tower Hill Station
This riverside route offers a perfect blend of historical sights and stunning riverside views of the City of London. It also demonstrates how effectively the industrious Port of London has been redeveloped into vibrant modern spaces whilst preserving its heritage.

ROUTE 8 -The City of London Tour 4.0 km
Start: Tower Hill Station
Finish: London Bridge Station
This route explores the City of London from the Tower of London to its eastern edge in Aldgate, through its skyscrapers, historical financial centre, and iconic buildings, and then back across London Bridge to the lively streets of Southwark

ROUTE 9 - From Borough Market to St Paul’s Cathedral - 2.0 km
